Online mirror with light.

Use your camera as a mirror and your screen as the light around it. Free, in the browser, and nothing leaves your device.

Your camera stays on this device. No photos, no recording, no upload.

Light tone

The light comes from your screen. Turn up the screen brightness for more of it; the page cannot change device brightness.

A little more light, right where you are.

Turn on the mirror
Allow the camera when your browser asks. The picture is mirrored, like a real mirror.
Bring the light closer
Choose warm, natural or cool, then widen the light around your reflection. Full screen gives you the most light.
Turn it off when you are done
The camera stops the moment you turn the mirror off or leave the page.

About the online mirror.

Is the online mirror private?

Yes. The video goes straight from your camera to this page in your browser. It is not recorded, saved or sent to any server, and the page has no photo button.

Why does my face look dark?

The screen is the light source, so it helps to sit closer, use full screen, choose a wider light and raise your screen brightness. In a fully dark room a screen will not replace a lamp or a dedicated ring light.

Does it work on iPhone, iPad and Android?

It works in current mobile browsers that allow camera access, including Safari on iPhone and iPad and Chrome on Android. On iPhone and iPad the Ring Light Mirror app gives you more room, pinch-to-zoom and a light that fills the whole screen.

Can I zoom in?

Not on the web version. The iPhone and iPad app lets you pinch from 1× to 3×. Zoom enlarges what the camera already captured; it does not add detail.

Does it cost anything?

No. The online mirror is free and has no ads or sign-up.

On iPhone, keep it one tap away.

Ring Light Mirror is the same idea as a free iPhone and iPad app: a live mirror inside a ring of light, pinch-to-zoom from 1× to 3×, a full-screen light panel and Home Screen widgets.
